Pokemon 428 LopinSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally found in the Gen IV Sinnoh region, the Lopunny Rabbit Pokémon is the Buneary evolution. Lopunny starts out as a Normal-type Pokémon, but with Mega Evolution it becomes a Fighting and Normal-type, and it also has solid stats. Eventually, other Fighting-type Mega Evolved Pokémon such as Mega Lucario, Mega Heracross, Mega Medicham, Mega Blaziken, Mega Gallade, and of course, Mega Mewtwo X will push Mega Lopunny out of the spotlight, but for now, the coup. Inch It Provides Field Fighting-type Pokémon make Mega Lopunny invaluable.

What are the best counters for Mega Lopunny in Pokémon Go

As a Normal and Fighting type, Mega Lopunny can deal Normal, Fighting, and Fire damage. He’s vulnerable to Fairy, Fighting, Flying, and Psychic-type attacks, offering some solid strategies.

Mewtwo

Pokemon 150 MewtwoSource: The Pokémon Company

The Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo Generation I is the best counter for Mega Lopunny except Shadow Mewtwo. As a Psychic-type, it takes reduced damage from Lopunny’s combat attacks and has no weaknesses that the Rabbit Pokémon can exploit. It’s been available a number of times, including in EX Raids, Legendary Raids, and as the first Shadow of Giovanni Legendary Pokémon, so most players have been lucky enough to catch at least two of them already. Any Mewtwo coming to this raid should know Confusion and Psychic strike; However, if you don’t have the Legacy move or the EliteTM to spare, Psychic can replace Psystrike.

Mega Redhead

Pokemon 018 Red Head MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

Mega Pidgeot is a great choice for this Mega Raid and the best Mega Evolved Pokémon you can bring. Normal and Flying Pokémon, Mega Pidgeot does not bring any noticeable weakness or resistance to this fight and it will boost all your Flight type counters. Gust and Brave bird are the ideal moveset.

Latios

Pokemon 381 LatiosSource: The Pokémon Company

Part of the Eon Duo, Latios is a great counter for Mega Lopunny. Latios is a Psychic and Dragon type, which grants him resistance to Combat and Fire type movements. It has also been available several times in raids, as a Research Reward encounter, and even as a Pokémon Go Battle League reward, so most players had plenty of opportunities to add this little plane to the game. reaction to their list. Zen head shot and Psychic are the moves you’ll want Latios to know for this fight.

Moltres

Pokemon 146 SulfuraSource: The Pokémon Company

Team Valor mascot Moltres is a great choice for this Mega Raid. Its Fire and Flying typing gives it resistance to Fight and Fire-type attacks, and although it is a Legendary Pokémon, it has been available so many times and in so many ways that there are simply no good reason not to have one yet. The best moveset is Wing attack and Sky attack; However, Sky Attack requires an EliteTM if you haven’t caught Moltres in limited events.

Conkeldurr

Pokemon 534 ConkeldurrSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally encountered in the Unova region, Conkeldurr behaves very well in this Mega Raid. As a pure Fighting-type, it doesn’t have any weaknesses that the Rabbit Pokémon can exploit, but it also doesn’t provide resistances. While it’s expensive to evolve, Conkeldurr benefits from Trade Evolution, leaving plenty of Candy for power-up, and his first step, Timburr has been featured in a number of events. You will want your Conkeldurr to know To counter and Dynamic punch.

Metagrosse

Pokemon 376 MetagrossSource: The Pokémon Company

Even though its Mega Evolution has yet to be introduced in Pokémon Go, Metagross is a fantastic choice for this Mega Raid. He is resistant to normal attacks from Mega Lopunny and has no weaknesses relevant to this fight. Best of all, his first stop, Beldum has been featured in a number of events including Community Day and the recent Steel and Psychic Incense Day, so most players have a few. Zen head shot and Psychic is the best moveset for this raid, however, if you have Meteor Mash, do not! Meteor Mash is a Legacy move and one of the best moves in the game.

Mega Charizard Y

Pokemon 006 Mega Charizard YSource: The Pokémon Company

While not as good as Mega Pidgeot, Mega Charizard Y does well against Mega Lopunny. As a Fire and Fly type, it resists Fire and Combat attacks and it will boost other Theft types on the field. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a lot of theft-type attacks, with Blow of air outperforming Wing Attack. Burn is the best option for a charged attack, but won’t deal super effective damage against Lopunny

Lucario

Pokemon 448 LucarioSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally encountered in the Sinnoh region of Gen IV, Lucario is an excellent counter for Mega Lopunny. Lucario will take double damage from Fire and Fight type attacks, so it won’t last very long in this fight, but he will do a lot of damage while he is kicking. Another downside is that Lucario is still quite difficult to get and power up. His first stop, Riolu, is a relatively rare hatch of eggs (10km eggs at that), so many players don’t have one yet. Yet if you bring Lucario, you To counter and Aura Sphere for the moveset.

Gardevoir

Pokemon 282 GardevoirSource: The Pokémon Company

One of the two final evolutions of Ralts, Gardevoir works well in this fight. The Psychic and Fairy Pokémon will take reduced damage from Lopunny’s combat attacks and he has no relevant weaknesses. Given how common Ralts is and the cheaper of the two evolutions, most players have had plenty of opportunities to add Gardevoir to their roster. Confusion and Psychic are the moves you’ll want your Gardevoir to know for this Mega Raid.

Mega Lopunny

Pokemon 428 Lopunny MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

While Mega Lopunny doesn’t last as long as Mega Charizard Y or Mega Pidgeot, it does present the opportunity for a solid Fighting-type offensive. The boost it provides to other combat types is well worth the extra cost of revives and potions, but thanks to its Normal type it will take increased damage if the Mega Lopunny you are facing has Combat type attacks. If you bring Mega Lopunny to this Mega Raid, you’ll want him to know Low-blow and Focus explosion.

Backups?

While most players can make a top scorer squad, if you find a gap in your squad there are plenty of substitutes out there who work well in larger groups. Just make sure you dodge and one of the following could be a decent save:

  • Mega Gengar with Sucker Punch and Psychic
  • Machamp with counter and dynamic punch
  • Gallade with confusion and psychic
  • Alakazam with confusion and psychic
  • Espeon with confusion and psychic
  • Ho-Oh with Extrasensory and Brave Bird
  • Rayquaza with Air Slash and Aerial Ace
  • Yveltal with Rafale and Psychique
  • Latias with Zen Headbutt and Psychic
  • Zapdos with Thunder Shock and Drill Peck
  • Exeggutor with confusion and psychic
  • Honchkrow with Peck and Sky Attack
  • Hariyama with counter and dynamic punch
  • Lugia with Extrasensory and Aeroblast
  • Togekiss with charm and dazzling shine
  • Victini with confusion and psychic
  • Delphox with Zen Headbutt and Psychic
  • Celebi with confusion and psychic
  • Jirachi with confusion and psychic

Shadow Pokémon?

The rebalancing of the Dark Pokémon saved from Team GO Rocket makes them excellent glass cannons. Not only are their stats improved, but during special events or with the TM Elite it is possible to modify their movements. If you happen to have any of the following Pokémon with the correct moveset, they will work just fine in this Raid:

  • Shadow Mewtwo with Confusion and Psystrike
  • Shadow Metagross with Zen Headbutt and Psychic
  • Shadow Moltres with Wing Attack and Sky Attack
  • Shadow Alakazam with confusion and psychic
  • Shadow Gardevoir with confusion and psychic
  • Shadow Gallade with confusion and psychic
  • Shadow Zapdos with Thunder Shock and Drill Peck
  • Shadow Machamp with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Shadow Exeggutor with Confusion and Psychic
  • Shadow Honchkrow with Peck and Sky Attack
  • Shadow Hariyama with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Shadow Staraptor with Attack Wing and Brave Bird

Note: Shadow Mewtwo outperforms all other Pokémon on the top counter list. Shadow Metagross, Shadow Moltres, and Shadow Alakazam also perform on a par with the other top counters.

How many players does it take to beat Mega Lopunny in Pokémon Go?

It’s always best to throw as big a party as possible for mega raids, so be sure to invite lots of friends; however, Lopunny isn’t particularly hard to beat. If you’re high level and have the best counters, you should be able to beat him with just three players.

Weather conditions that may impact this raid include:

  • Cloudy weather will increase Mega Lopunny’s Fight-type attacks as well as your Fight-type and Fairy-type counters.
  • Partly cloudy weather will increase Mega Lopunny’s normal type attacks.
  • Sunny / clear weather will increase Mega Lopunny’s fire attack.
  • Windy conditions will increase your Flight and Psy counters.

Pokémon Go: Dialga Raid Guide

0

For Pokémon Go Fest 2021, Niantic is bringing back each Legendary Raid for just one day. On Sunday, July 18, Dialga will return to Raids, alongside dozens of other Legenday Pokémon. Luckily, at iMore, we’ve got everything you need to know to win this fight and add Dialga to your roster. And don’t forget to check out our best Pokémon Go accessories, so you can be fully equipped for your Pokémon adventure!

Who is Dialga in Pokémon Go?

Pokemon 483 DialgaSource: The Pokémon Company

The legendary mascot of Pokémon Diamond, Dialga is a member of the Creaton Trio, alongside Palkia and Giratina. All three were created simultaneously by Arceus and each was given a different dimension to control. Palkia controls space in the space world, Dialga controls time in the time world, and Giratina controls antimatter in the warp world. Although Giratina has been banished to the Warp World for her violent nature, Dialga and Palkia only remain peaceful until they see each other. Arceus had to create the Lake Trio, Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie, to control them and calm them down if they got into a fight.

VPN offers: lifetime license for $ 16, monthly plans for $ 1 and more

In terms of Pokémon Go, Dialga has some amazing stats, but it lacks the moves to make the most of those stats. It’s always worth having, especially since it’s a dragon type that doesn’t take increased damage from dragon-type moves, but until Niantic gives it better moves, it doesn’t. will not be a major competitor.

What are the best counters for Dialga in Pokémon Go?

Dialga is a type of steel and dragon capable of dealing dragon, steel, and electricity damage. Unlike most Dragon-types, Dialga is not weak against Dragon-type moves. Instead, he’s low at Combat and Ground-type damage.

Lucario

Pokemon 448 LucarioSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally encountered in the Gen IV Sinnoh region, Lucario beats all other counters, including Shadows and Megas. As a Steel and Combat type, it resists the Dragon and Steel type movements of Dialga. Unfortunately, Lucario can only be obtained by evolution and his first stage, Riolu is very hard to find, only hatched from 10k eggs, so many players don’t even have them, let alone them. candy to feed it. Still, if you have Lucario, you’ll want To counter and Aura Sphere for the moveset.

Conkeldurr

Pokemon 534 ConkeldurrSource: The Pokémon Company

Generation V’s Conkeldurr comes in behind Lucario, but remains an excellent counter for Dialga. As a pure Combat-type, he does not bring any resistance or weakness relevant to combat. His first step, Timburr was featured a lot in Raids and Eggs and benefits from Trade Evolution, so it’s pretty easy to scale up and power up. If you bring Conkeldurr to this raid, you’ll want him to know To counter and Dynamic punch.

Excadrille

Pokemon 530 ExcadrilleSource: The Pokémon Company

Generation V Excadrill is an excellent speedometer for Dialga. Ground and Steel type, it withstands all potential Dialga moves, so it will last a long time. It is also quite available; Not only was Excadrill featured in raiding, but its first stop was in a number of events, besides being a relatively common spawn. If you bring Excadrill to this fight, you’ll want to Mud-Slap and Drilling execution for his moveset.

Groudon

Pokemon 383 GroudonSource: The Pokémon Company

The mascot of Ruby Pokémon, Groudon is doing well against Dialga. As a pure earth-type, he withstands Dialga’s Electric-type attack and has no weaknesses relevant to this battle. Groudon also had multiple races in raids, was featured twice as a Research Breakthrough reward encounter, and was a Pokémon Go Battle League reward encounter, so most players were lucky enough to catch multiple Groudon. Mud shot and Earthquake are the moves you’ll want your Groudon to know against Dialga.

Machamp

Pokemon 068 MachampSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally discovered in the Gen I Kanto region, Machamp is another great choice for this raid. Having been available since launch day, featured in a number of events and even the star of a community day, there’s no good reason not to have at least one or two Machamp powered up at this point. . It even benefits from Trade Evolution, leaving tons of leftover candy for power-up. As a pure Combat-type, he doesn’t resist any of Dialga’s attacks, but he also doesn’t have any relevant weaknesses. To counter and Dynamic punch are the movements that you will want your Machamp to know.

Landorus (therian form)

Pokemon 645 Landorus TherianSource: The Pokémon Company

Legendary Pokémon with two forms, the Landorus Therian form is better equipped for this Raid, than its Incarnate form, but not too many. Both are Ground-type and Flying-type, which grants them resistance to Electric-type movements, but Therian form has better stats. Sadly, the Therian form hasn’t had as widespread availability as the Incarnate form, but since they both share the same Candy, it should still be fairly easy to power up. If you bring Landorus to this raid, you’ll want to Mud shot and Earthquake for his travels.

Landorus (embodied form)

Pokemon Landorus IncarnateSource: The Pokémon Company

The lesser of the two forms, Landorus Incarnate form is still a great choice for this Raid. He withstands Dialga’s electric-type attack and has no weaknesses relevant to this fight. It’s also been available a lot more often than the Therian form, so there’s a good chance you won’t have to invest a lot to fuel your own. Mud shot and Earth power are the best moves Landorus Incarnate can know to face Dialga.

Hariyama

Pokemon 297 HariyamaSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally encountered in the Hoenn region of Gen III, Hariyama fares well against Dialga, but not as well as Conkeldurr or even Machamp. This pure type of combat is readily available, with just two stages, both of which appear quite frequently. To counter and Dynamic punch are the moves you will want your Hariyama to know.

Mega Lopunny

Pokemon 428 Lopunny MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

The only Mega Evolved Pokémon to make the Top Counter list, Mega Lopunny continues to be the only Fighting-type Mega Pokémon until there. Eventually, Mega Lucario, Mega Blaziken, Mega Gallade, Mega Heracross, Mega Medicham, and Mega Mewtwo X will find their way into Pokémon Go, but for now, Mega Lopunny is. As a Normal and Combat type, Mega Lopunny has no noticeable resistance or weakness and will empower other combat types in the field. Low-blow and Focus explosion are the ideal moveset for this Raid.

Rhyperior

Pokemon 464 RhyperiorSource: The Pokémon Company

Last but not least, the Sinnoh Stone evolution of Rhydon from Generation I, Rhyperior is another great counter for Dialga, as long as Dialga does not have Steel type movements. As a Ground and Rock-type, Rhyperior takes super effective damage from Steel-type moves, but resists Electric-type moves. Thanks to a number of events, including a community day, Rhyperior is also very accessible. If you bring Rhyperior to this fight, you’ll want Mud-Slap for its rapid movement and Earthquake for its charged movement.

Backups?

While most players are able to make a top scorer squad, if you find a gap in your squad there are plenty of substitutes out there who work well in larger groups. Just make sure you dodge and one of the following could be a decent save:

  • Breloom with counter and dynamic punch
  • Garchomp with Mud Shot and Earth Power
  • Regigigas with Hidden Power and Focus Blast
  • Rhydon with Mud-Slap and Earthquake
  • Krookodile with Mud-Slap and earthquake
  • Heracross with Counter and Close Combat
  • Toxicroak with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Sirfetch’d with Counter and Close Combat
  • Donphan with Mud-Slap and earthquake
  • Blaziken with Counter and Focus Blast
  • Mamoswine with Mud-Slap and Bulldoze
  • Swampert with mud shot and earthquake
  • Poliwrath with Rock Smash and Dynamic Punch
  • Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Focus Blast
  • Flygon with Mud Shot and Earth Power
  • Gallade with Low Kick and Close Combat

Shadow Pokémon?

The rebalancing of the Dark Pokémon saved from Team GO Rocket makes them excellent glass cannons. Not only are their stats improved, but during special events or with the TM Elite it is possible to modify their movements. If you happen to have any of the following Pokémon with the correct moveset, they will work just fine in this Raid:

  • Shadow Machamp with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Shadow Hariyama with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Shadow Mamoswine with Mud-Slap and Bulldoze
  • Shadow Swampert with Mud Shot and Earthquake
  • Shadow Poliwrath with Rock Smash and Dynamic Punch
  • Shadow Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Focus Blast
  • Shadow Flygon with Mud Shot and Earth Power
  • Shadow Gallade with Low Kick and Close Combat

Note: Shadow Machamp and Shadow Hariyama behave on a par with the other top counters.

How many players does it take to beat Dialga in Pokémon Go?

With the best counters and movesets, three top trainers can beat Dialga, but if you’re lower level or don’t have the best counters, you might need six.

Weather conditions that may impact this raid include:

  • Snow will stimulate Dialga’s Steel-like movements.
  • The wind will increase its Dragon-type movements.
  • The rain will increase its electric type movement.
  • Cloudy / overcast weather will increase your Combat type counters.
  • Sunny / clear weather will increase your Sol type counters.

Kleavor – Sycther’s Hisuan Evolution – revealed

0

A recent trailer for Pokémon Legends Arceus has revealed a new Pokémon that Scyther can evolve into: Kleavor. Kleavor is a new Insect and rock type available in the Hisui region where Legends: Arceus is scheduled to take place.

As with previous games in the main Pokémon series, we expect Pokémon from the Hisui region to be available in Pokémon GO through a crossover (or promotional) event. With that said, let’s take a look at Kleavor.

You can learn more about the game here: legends.pokemon.com and watch the trailer below:

Kleavor

CATEGORY Ax pokemon
WRITES Insect / Rock
HEIGHT 5’11 “
WEIGHT 196.2 pounds

Parts of her body have turned to stone

The special minerals found in the Hisui region make Scyther turn into this Pokémon. Parts of his body have been hardened to stone. Stone parts are often chipped during fierce battles, and Kleavor that have survived many battles will show larger splinters on their bodies.

However, chipping actually makes these stone pieces sharper, increasing their cutting power. The Hisui people are said to have once used pieces of stone that had fallen from Kleavor to make tools.

He attacks with his ax-like arms

Even a casual strike from one of Kleavor’s large ax-shaped arms is capable of dealing a devastating blow and dealing massive damage to the toughest opponents. Kleavor uses his arms to carve symbols into tree trunks and even cut down trees to mark his territory.

If you come across trees with marks made by a sharp blade or a row of trees cut in a criss-cross pattern, it could be Kleavor’s doing.

Other Hisuan Pokémon

Kleavor isn’t the only Hsuan Pokémon that has been revealed to date. Here is a short list of the new Pokémon that we hope to find in GO after the launch of Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Wyrdeer

In the Hisui region, Stantler can evolve to Wyrdeer. This Pokémon has long been treasured by the people of this region, for whom it is indispensable. Normal and Psychic writes.

Hispanic bravia

When Rufflet in the Hisui region evolves, they become Hispanic bravia. In winter, this Pokémon flies from somewhere further north. Psychic and Flying writes.

Hisuian Growlithe

This is Growlithe as it appears in the Hisui region. its The Hispanic form has moreBulkier, fur than the previously discovered form of Growlithe. Fire and rock writes.

Togglegion

Basculin in the Hisui region can evolve to Togglegion. This Evolution occurs when a Basculin is possessed by the souls of other Basculin from their school who could not endure the hard journey upriver. Water and Ghost writes.

Online reactions

The recent trailer created quite a stir about the game. We found BirdKeeperToby to be particularly nice:

As usual, Austin John Plays posted a detailed video of the recent trailer. Check it out if you are interested in this game:

Pokemon Go Reshiram Zekrom Kyurem RaidsSource: Niantic

For Pokémon Go Fest 2021, Niantic is bringing back each Legendary Raid for just one day. On Sunday, July 18, Zekrom will return to Raids, alongside dozens of other Legenday Pokémon. Luckily, at iMore, we’ve got everything you need to know to win this fight and add Zekrom to your roster. And don’t forget to check out our best Pokémon Go accessories, so you can be fully equipped for your Pokémon adventure!

Who is Zekrom in Pokémon Go?

Pokemon 644 ZekromSource: The Pokémon Company

One of the Tao Trio of the Unova region, Zekrom is a legendary Dragon and Electric type Pokémon. The Tao Trio is based on the concepts of Yin, Yang and Wuji. Zekrom represents Yin with its Electric type, while Reshiram represents Yang with its Fire type, and Kyurem, with its Ice type, represents Wuji, which is the absence of Yin and Yang. Zekrom is also the mascot of Pokémon White.

VPN offers: lifetime license for $ 16, monthly plans for $ 1 and more

Zekrom has a huge CP cap – we’re talking over 53,000 in raids! He’s one of the best Electric-type attackers in the game, thanks to his stats and secondary typing. As one Dragon guy says, it’s not quite like amazing, but still pretty solid. Either way, this has only been in raids once before and it was at the height of a global pandemic, so many players don’t even have them yet.

What are the best counters for Zekrom in Pokémon Go?

As a Dragon and Electric-type Pokémon, Zekrom is weak against Ground, Ice, Dragon, and Fairy. It is capable of inflicting Dragon, Electric, Steel, and Dark damage.

Palkia

Pokemon 484 PalkiaSource: The Pokémon Company

The legendary mascot of Pokemon Pearl, Palkia is the best non-Shadow counter for Zekrom. As a Water and Dragon-type, he resists Zekrom’s Steel-type attack, but like most counters, he takes super effective damage from Dragon-type moves. It hasn’t seen widespread availability with a single run in Legendary Raids and Pokémon Go Fest 2020, so you might not have fully fueled one. If you bring Palkia to this raid, Dragon tail and Draco Meteor are the moves you are looking for.

Garchomp

Pokemon 445 GarchompSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally found in the Gen IV Sinnoh region, Garchomp is an excellent choice for this raid. As a Ground and Dragon-type, Garchomp takes super effective damage from Zekrom’s Dragon-type attacks, but resists his Electric-type attacks. Thanks to its recent Community Day, most active players already have a few energized. Dragon tail and Contempt are the moves you’ll want your Garchomp to know for this fight.

Zekrom

Pokemon 644 ZekromSource: The Pokémon Company

As is often the case with Dragon-types, Zekrom makes a great counter for itself, especially if the Zekrom you’re up against doesn’t have Dragon-type moves. Sadly, Zekrom has only had one round in raiding and it was at the height of a global pandemic, so many players don’t even have one, let alone the Candy to fuel it. If you have one, you’ll want him to know Dragon breath and Contempt.

Reshiram

Pokemon 643 ReshiramSource: The Pokémon Company

The legendary mascot of Pokémon Black, Reshiram is behaving very well in this Raid. As a Dragon and Fire-type, he takes increased damage from Dragon-type moves, while resisting both Steel and Electric. Much like his counterpart, however, Reshiram has only had one run in the raids and it was during the pandemic that many players don’t even have one, let alone Candy to fuel him. However, if you have one, the moveset you’ll want to face against Zekrom is Dragon breath and Draco Meteor.

Dialga

Pokemon 483 DialgaSource: The Pokémon Company

The legendary mascot of Pokémon Diamond, Dialga is a great tanky option for this raid. Dragon and Steel type, it is resistant to Electric and Steel type moves, and it is the only Dragon type in Pokémon Go that is not weak against Dragon type moves. Unfortunately, Dialga only had one round in Raids and Pokémon Go Fest 2020, so many players don’t have it or the Candy to power it up. Yet if you bring Dialga to fight Zekrom, Dragon breath and Draco Meteor is the moveset you are looking for.

Rayquaza

Pokemon 384 RaquazaSource: The Pokémon Company

The Gen III mascot Pokemon Emerald Rayquaza remains an excellent counter for Zekrom, even if it is no longer the best. As a Dragon and Flying-type, he does not provide any resistance in combat, but the only weakness Zekrom can exploit is Dragon-type damage. Rayquaza has also been on several raids and has been featured in Special Research, so most players had plenty of opportunities to add him to their roster. Dragon tail is the fast movement you want your Rayquaza to experience and Contempt is the best charged attack.

Mega Charizard X

Pokemon 006 Mega Charizard XSource: The Pokémon Company

While it doesn’t perform as well as some of the other top counters, if it’s possible you’ll want Mega Charizard X to be part of your squad for this raid. This will give a significant boost to other types of dragons on the court, so if it’s possible to coordinate safely with other trainers, do it! As a Dragon and Fire-type, he resists Electric and Steel-type attacks, while sharing Dragon-type weakness. You will want your Mega Charizard to know Dragon breath and Dragon claw facing Zekrom.

Dragonite

Pokemon 149 DragoniteSource: The Pokémon Company

The original Gen I pseudo-legendary, Dragonite is a solid counter with great uptime. It has benefited from the Community Day treatment, has been featured in Special Events and Research, and is even available as a Shadow Pokémon. As a Dragon and Flying type, he doesn’t bring any useful resistance to this fight, and he’s weak for Dragon-type moves, but he’s still a great counter that most players have. Dragon tail and Dragon claw are the ideal moveset for Dragonite in this battle, but Contempt is extremely close. Draco Meteor can also work if you don’t have TMs to spare.

Mamoswine

Pokemon 473 MamoswineSource: The Pokémon Company

At Sinnoh Stone Evolution, Mamoswine does well against Zekrom. As a Ground and Ice type, he is super resistant to Electric type movement, but weak against Steel. It has also been featured in a community day, as well as several other events, so most players already have a few. Able to get STAB on two of Zekrom’s weaknesses, slap of mud and avalanche are the ideal moveset, but Powder snow and Demolish also work well.

Salamence

Pokemon 373 SalamenceSource: The Pokémon Company

Pseudo-legendary of the Hoenn region, Salamence is the last of our best counters. Having been the star of his own Community Day, as well as appearing in raids and other events, most players have at least one really powerful Salamence. He’s a Dragon and Flying type, so his only relevant weakness is Dragon. Dragon tail and Draco Meteor are the movements you are looking for but Contempt may also work well.

Backups?

While most players are able to make a top scorer squad, if you find a gap in your squad there are plenty of substitutes out there who work well in larger groups. Just make sure you dodge and one of the following could be a decent save:

Shadow Pokémon

The rebalancing of the Dark Pokémon saved from Team GO Rocket makes them excellent glass cannons. Not only are their stats improved, but during special events it is possible to modify their movements with TMs. If you happen to have any of the following Pokémon with the correct moveset, they will work just fine in this Raid:

  • Shadow Mamoswine with Mud-Slap and Avalanche
  • Shadow dragonite with dragon tail and dragon claw
  • Shadow Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Shadow Gardevoir Charm and Dazzling Glow
  • Shadow Mewtwo * with Psycho Cut and Ice Beam
  • Shadow Weaville with Ice Shard and Avalanche
  • Shadow Granbull with Charm and Play Rough
  • Shadow Flygon with Dragon Tail and Dragon Claw
  • Shadow Swampert with Mud Shot and Earthquake
  • Shadow Porygon Z with Hidden Power and Blizzard

Note: Shadow Mamoswine and Shadow Dragonite outperform all other Pokémon on the top counter list. Shadow Salamence, Shadow Gardevoir, and Shadow Mewtwo also behave on a par with the other top counters.

If you have a Shadow Mewtwo with Psystrike or Shadow Ball, don’t these movements! Both are legacy moves that make Shadow Mewtwo the best Psychic and Ghost type attacker in the entire game.

How many players does it take to beat Zekrom in Pokémon Go?

Under perfect conditions, it is possible for two players to face Zekrom alone. However, that’s a lot of pieces that need to snap into place. If you are playing with high level players, four should be able to handle this Raid. For lower level players, you’ll want to aim for at least six. Adding invitations to the raid should make a huge difference.

Weather conditions that may impact this raid include:

  • Rain stimulates Zekrom’s electric-like movements
  • The wind will increase its Dragon-type movements, as well as your Dragon-type counters
  • Snow will increase its Steel-type movement, as well as your Ice-type counters
  • Fog will increase Zekrom’s dark type movement
  • Sunny / Clear Weather Will Increase Your Ground Type Meters
  • Cloudy weather will increase your fairy types counters

Who is Reshiram in Pokémon Go?

Pokemon 643 ReshiramSource: The Pokémon Company

One of the Tao Trio of the Unova region, Reshiram is a legendary Dragon and Fire-type Pokémon. The Tao Trio is based on the concepts of Yin, Yang and Wuji. Reshiram represents Yang with its Fire type, while Zekrom represents Yin with its Electric type, and Kyurem represents Wuji, which is the absence of Yin and Yang, with its Ice type. Reshiram is also the mascot of Pokémon Black.

VPN offers: lifetime license for $ 16, monthly plans for $ 1 and more

Reshiram has a huge CP cap – we’re talking over 53,000 in raids! His attack stats are particularly impressive, and his Fire-type moves are excellent. Outside of Shadow Pokémon and Mega Pokémon, this is the best type of fire in the game. Also, it has only been featured once before and that was during a global pandemic, so there are strong chances are you want to add at least one or two to your list this round.

What are the best counters for Reshiram in Pokémon Go?

Reshiram is a Fire and Dragon type capable of dealing Fire, Dragon, Rock and Dark type damage. It takes increased damage from Dragon, Ground, and Rock-type moves, leaving a few potential strategies behind.

Rhyperior

Pokemon 464 RhyperiorSource: The Pokémon Company

The evolution of the Sinnoh Stone from Rhyhorn Gen I, Rhyperior is the best non-Shadow counter for Reshiram. As a Ground and Rock-type, Rhyperior is resistant to Fire and Rock-type attacks, and he has no relevant weaknesses. Thanks to his community day, as well as his participation in other events, most players already have at least one or two on their roster. If you bring slap of mud and Rock demolisher are the moves you’ll want your Rhyperior to know, but if you don’t have the exclusive Community Day move or the TM to spare, Earthquake is the next best loaded move.

Dialga

Pokemon 483 DialgaSource: The Pokémon Company

The legendary mascot of Pokémon Diamond, Dialga is an excellent counter for Reshiram. As a Steel and Dragon-type, this is the only Dragon-type in Pokémon Go that isn’t weak against Dragon-type moves and is resistant to Rock-type damage. Unfortunately, Dialga has only been available twice, so many players don’t have the Candy to power it on. If you have Dialga, you’ll want him to know Dragon breath and Draco Meteor for this raid.

Rayquaza

Pokemon 384 RaquazaSource: The Pokémon Company

Although no longer the top meter, the legendary mascot of Pokemon Emerald, Rayquaza remains an excellent choice for this Raid. As a Dragon and Flying-type, he takes increased damage from Reshiram’s Rock and Dragon moves, while resisting Fire-type damage. Rayquaza has completed five races in raids and has been featured in Special Research, so most active players have at least one or two on their roster. You will want your Rayquaza to know Dragon tail and Contempt confront Reshiram.

Rampardos

Pokemon 409 RampardosSource: The Pokémon Company

A Generation IV Sinnoh-region fossil Pokémon, Rampardos is a great counter in this raid. Pure Rock-type, he has no weaknesses that Reshiram can exploit, and he is resistant to Fire-type damage. His first stage, Cranidos has been featured in events and is a relatively common egg hatch, so most players have at least one or two at this point. Smack down, and Landslide is the moveset that you will want your Rampardos to know.

Mega Gyarados

Pokemon 130 Gyarados MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

The only Pokémon Mega Evolved * in the top counter list, Mega Gyarados has the advantage of an excellent Dragon-type move set, while not being a Dragon-type itself. As a Water and Dark type, he is resistant to Fire and Dark type damage and has no weaknesses that Reshiram can exploit. On the one hand, this means that it won’t provide the same kind of mega boost to the rest of the dragon-types on the field, but it also means that it can withstand Reshiram’s Dragon-type attacks. If you bring Mega Gyarados to this fight, you’ll want Dragon tail and Contempt like his moveset.

Haxorus

Pokemon 612 HaxorusSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally found in the Gen V Unova region, Haxorus performs well in this raid. As a pure Dragon-type, he is weak against Dragon-type moves and Fire resistant. His first stage, Axew is quite rare, so few players have enough Candy to evolve and power Haxorus, but if you do, it will serve you well against Reshiram. You will want your Haxorus to know Dragon tail and Dragon claw.

Garchomp

Pokemon 445 GarchompSource: The Pokémon Company

Pseudo-legendary of Generation IV, Garchomp is another excellent cons for Reshiram. He’s a Ground and Dragon-type, so even though he takes super effective damage from Dragon-type moves, he’s resistant to Rock and Fire. Plus, it was featured on a recent Community Day, so most active players already have a few turned on. Dragon tail and Contempt are the ideal moves for this Raid. However, its exclusive Community Day movement, Earth power works fine too, so I wouldn’t for this raid.

Terrace

Pokemon 639 TerrakionSource: The Pokémon Company

One of the swords of justice, Gen V Terrakion is a solid counter to Reshiram. As a Rock and Fighting type, he is resistant to Rock, Fire, and Dark type attacks and is one of the few counters that is not low against Dragon type damage. Terrakion also had a few races in raids and was a Pokémon Go Battle League reward encounter, so most active players have at least one or two on their roster. Smack down and Landslide are the best moves Terrakion can bring to this raid.

Salamence

Pokemon 373 SalamenceSource: The Pokémon Company

Pseudo-legendary of Generation III, Salamence behaves well against Reshiram. There was a community day and had been available for a while, so most players already have a powerful one. As a Dragon and Flying-type, he is weak to Dragon and Rock-type damage, while resisting Fire-type attacks. you will want Dragon tail for its rapid movement, and Contempt for the charged attack.

Zekrom

Pokemon 644 ZekromSource: The Pokémon Company

Last but not least, the legendary mascot of Pokémon White, Zekrom is doing well in this Raid. As an Electric and Dragon-type, it takes reduced damage from Fire-type attacks, but increased damage from Dragon-type. Sadly, Zekrom’s only run in the raids was at the height of a global pandemic, so many players don’t even have one, let alone the Candy to fuel him. However, if you have a Zekrom, you’ll want it to know Dragon breath and Contempt for this fight.

Note: While Mega Charizard X, Mega Altaria, or Mega Ampharos will boost other types of dragons in the field, none of them will last long enough to make our top scorers. If you have an abundance of their mega-energies and can safely coordinate with the rest of your raid party, they may still be worth bringing, but be prepared to use a lot of potions and revives. .

Backups?

While most players are able to make a top scorer squad, if you find a gap in your squad there are plenty of substitutes out there who work well in larger groups. Just make sure you dodge and one of the following could be a decent save:

Shadow Pokémon?

The rebalancing of the Dark Pokémon saved from Team GO Rocket makes them excellent glass cannons. Not only are their stats improved, but during special events or with the TM Elite it is possible to modify their movements. If you happen to have any of the following Pokémon with the correct moveset, they will work just fine in this Raid:

  • Shadow Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Shadow dragonite with dragon tail and outrage
  • Shadow Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge
  • Shadow Gyarados with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Shadow Omastar with Rock Throw and Rock Slide
  • Shadow Flygon with Dragon Tail and Dragon Claw
  • Shadow Aerodactyl with Rock Throw and Rock Slide
  • Shadow Aggron with Smack Down and Stone Edge
  • Shadow Mamoswine with Mud-Slap and Bulldoze
  • Shadow Swampert with Mud Shot and Earthquake

Note: Shadow Salamence, Shadow Dragonite, and Shadow Tyranitar outperform all other Pokémon on the top counter list.

How many players does it take to beat Reshiram in Pokémon Go?

While it is possible for two players with the best conditions to eliminate Reshiram, you will likely need at least three for higher level players and at least six for lower level players.

Weather conditions that may impact this raid include:

  • The wind will increase Reshiram’s Dragon-type movements, as well as your Dragon-type counters.
  • Sunny / Clear weather will increase its Fire-type moves, as well as your Ground-type counters
  • Partly cloudy weather will increase its Rock-type movement and your Rock-type counters
  • The fog will increase the Darkness type movement of Reshiram

Pokémon GO Teases Galarian Slowking for Halloween

0

Pokémon GO Twitter just posted its first trailer for the ever-spooky and fantastic Halloween event, and it looks like it’s introducing a new Galar Pokémon!

That shadowy form appears to be Galar’s Slowking!

Slowking (Galarian)

Slowking de Galar is a Poison and Psychic type that evolves from Galarian Slowpoke by using a Galarica Wreath, first discovered in the Galar region. Currently Galarian Slowpoke can only evolve into Galarian Slowbro, so it will be interesting to see if we gain access to the new form of Slowking through evolution or the raiding system. We look forward to evolution like Slowbro! Currently to get Galarian Slowbro you need 50 candies, and to catch 30 Poison Pokémon-type with the Galarian Slowpoke as a friend, so we suspect there will be another aspect in Slowking’s evolution as well.

Galarian Slowking is a truly unique Pokémon design, as Shellder has completely taken over its head and eyes, and parts of its body turn purple. Plus they get a cape to spin. It’s proven to be a very popular Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Shield, so we’re excited to see it make its way to Pokémon GO!

Galar’s Slow Sprite Brilliant Galarian Slow Sprite

TO Psychic and Poison type as a remake opens up some interesting possibilities for a different kind of Halloween event, focusing on those types, rather than the usual Dark and Ghost types. We’ve speculated on what might happen at Halloween 2021, but this creates exciting potential! Maybe we will see a Poison type event for the first time in history. There is a lot of fun Poison dudes who haven’t had their brilliant release yet, including Spinarak, Gulpin, and Stunky, who might show up if the topic was poison.

Publicity hype!

Pokémon Go: Terrakion Guide

0

Pokémon Go: Kyurem Guide

0

For Pokémon Go Fest 2021, Niantic is bringing back each Legendary Raid for just one day. On Sunday, July 18, Kyurem will return to Raids, alongside dozens of other Legenday Pokémon. Luckily, at iMore, we’ve got everything you need to know to win this fight and add Kyurem to your roster. And don’t forget to check out our best Pokémon Go accessories, so you can be fully equipped for your Pokémon adventure!

Who is Kyurem in Pokémon Go?

Pokemon 646 KyuremSource: The Pokémon Company

Kyurem and the Tao Trio of the Unova region are a group of Legendary Dragon-type Pokémon and the mascots of the Gen V games. Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2. The Tao Trio is based on the concepts of Yin, Yang and Wuji. Zekrom represents Yin with its Electric type, while Reshiram represents Yang with its Fire type, and Kyurem, with its Ice type, represents Wuji, which is the absence of Yin and Yang.

VPN offers: lifetime license for $ 16, monthly plans for $ 1 and more

Kyurem is unique among the Tao Trio in that it is able to merge with the other two to form Black Kyurem and White Kyurem. Although fused together he is noticeably stronger, but on his own Kyurem is the easier of the three raids. Eventually, if given the chance to merge, it will really stand out. It could also be a powerful Ice-type if it has its signature move or any fast Ice-type movement. It has two possible quick moves: Dragon Breath and Steel Wing. Its possible charged moves include Blizzard, Draco Meteor, and Dragon Claw.

What are the best counters for Kyurem in Pokémon Go?

As a Dragon and Ice type, Kyurem is weak on Combat, Rock, Steel, Dragon, and Fairy type moves. It can deal Dragon, Ice, and Steel damage.

Metagrosse

Pokemon 376 MetagrossSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally found in the Hoenn region, Metagross is the best counter for Kyurem, just behind Shadow Metagross. He resists all Kyurem movements and it is very common. With a variant of Shadow Pokémon and its own Community Day, most players have at least one or two strong metagrosses. You will want him to know Punch and this is the exclusive movement of Community Day, Meteor puree. If you don’t have one on Community Day, investing an EliteTM in this move is worth it, especially since it will end up getting a Mega Evolution.

Lucario

Pokemon 448 LucarioSource: The Pokémon Company

Gen IV Lucario is a great choice to take on Kyurem, if you have one. Lucario can only be gained through evolution and his first stage, Riolu is an incredibly rare 10KM Eggs hatch, so many players don’t have one at all. As a Steel and Combat type, he’s also resistant to anything Kyurem can do. If you have a Lucario, To counter and Aura Sphere are the ideal movements.

Conkeldurr

Pokemon 534 ConkeldurrSource: The Pokémon Company

Timburr’s final evolution, Conkeldurr is a pure Gen V combat type. It’s not very common and doesn’t bring any noticeable resistance to battle, but he’s also not weak in the face of attacks. from Kyruem. It also benefits from Trade Evolution, leaving plenty of extra candy for power-up. If you bring Conkeldurr to this raid, you’ll want him to know To counter and Dynamic punch.

Dialga

Pokemon 483 DialgaSource: The Pokémon Company

The mascot of Pokémon Diamond and the next one Shiny Diamond Pokémon, Dialga hasn’t seen widespread availability in Pokémon Go, so many players don’t even have one at full power. Still, if you have it, Dialga is resistant to Kyurem’s Steel-type attack and only takes normal damage from her Ice and Dragon-type attacks. Dragon breath is the fast movement you want, and Draco Meteor is the shot loaded with choice.

Rhyperior

Pokemon 464 RhyperiorSource: The Pokémon Company

Gen I Rhyhorn’s Sinnoh Stone evolution, Rhyperior is not my first choice for this raid. As a Ground and Rock-type, he takes double damage from Kyurem’s Ice and Steel-type moves, but most players have at least one or two at full strength (if not a whole team.) Rhyhorn has been around since the beginning. start and was featured in a community day. Additionally, Rhyperior is quite durable, even when taking double damage. If you bring Rhyperior to this raid, you’ll want him to know Smack down and Rock demolisher.

Machamp

Pokemon 068 MachampSource: The Pokémon Company

Gen I Machamp is a pure fighting type with wide availability. With the addition of Trade Evolution, as well as its Community Day, there’s no good excuse not to have a fully fueled Machamp couple on your roster. It is not as strong as Conkeldurr, but with To counter and Dynamic punch, as well as no significant weakness, it will hurt Kyurem.

Mega Gyarados

Pokemon 130 Gyarados MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

While Steel, Fighting, and even Rock type offensives are fairly easy to set up, Mega Gyarados can be a solid addition to a Dragon-based squad. As a Dark and Water type, he won’t provide an extra boost to other dragons in the field, so you won’t need to coordinate with the rest of your raid party. It is resistant to Steel and Ice-type damage and has no weaknesses Kyurem can exploit. If you bring Gyarados to this fight, you’ll want Dragon tail for rapid movement and Contempt for the loaded movement.

Terrace

Pokemon 639 TerrakionSource: The Pokémon Company

One of the legendary swords of justice, Terrakion has had fairly widespread availability in raiding and as a reward encounter. As a Rock and Fighting type, he will take double damage from Steel Wing, but normal damage from the rest of Kyurem’s moves. If you bring Terrakion to this raid, you will want Smack down and Landslide for the moveset.

Genesect

Pokemon 649 GenesectSource: The Pokémon Company

The Mythical Steel and Bug type of the Unova region, Genesect performs quite well against Kyurem. It resists all of Kyurem’s attacks and has been much more common than Mythics usually are in Pokémon Go. However, power-up is still quite expensive, so many trainers only have one or two. If you bring Genesect to this raid, you’ll want him to know Metal clamp and Magnetic bomb.

Mega Charizard Y

Pokemon 006 Mega Charizard YSource: The Pokémon Company

One of the two Mega Evolutions of the original Fire starter, Mega Charizard Y is of the Fire and Flying type. With access to Dragon-type movements Dragon breath and Dragon claw, Mega Charizard Y is capable of dealing Dragon-type damage, benefiting from the huge stat boost Mega Evolution grants, and taking no super effective damage from any of Kyurem’s moves. However, while it provides the same stat boost as all Mega Evolved Pokémon, it won’t upgrade other dragon types like Mega Charizard X would. There are definitely better options, so I wouldn’t want Mega. Evolve only for this raid, but if you already have a Mega Evolved one, it’s worth bringing it.

Backups?

While most players are able to make a top scorer squad, if you find a gap in your squad there are plenty of substitutes out there who work well in larger groups. Just make sure you dodge and one of the following could be a decent save:

  • Excadrill with metal claw and iron head
  • Mega Lopunny with Low Kick and Focus Blast
  • Gardevoir with charm and dazzling radiance
  • Zekrom with Dragon Breath and Outrage
  • Cobalion with metal claw and sacred sword
  • Hariyama with counter and dynamic punch
  • Jirachi with confusion and desire for unhappiness
  • Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge
  • Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide
  • Haxorus with dragon tail and dragon claw
  • Togekiss with charm and dazzling shine
  • Mega Gengar with Shadow Claw and Focus Blast
  • Gigalith with Smack Down and Rock Slide
  • Granbull with charm and rough play
  • Mega Charizard X with dragon breath and dragon claw
  • Giratina (Origin form) with Dragon Tail and Dragon Pulse
  • Reshiram with Dragon Breath and Draco Meteor
  • Palkia with Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor
  • Kyurem with dragon breath and dragon claw
  • Latios with dragon breath and dragon claw
  • Heracross with Counter and Close Combat
  • Sirfetch’d with Counter and Close Combat

Shadow Pokémon?

The rebalancing of the Dark Pokémon saved from Team GO Rocket makes them excellent glass cannons. Not only are their stats improved, but during special events or with the TM Elite it is possible to modify their movements. If you happen to have any of the following Pokémon with the correct moveset, they will work just fine in this Raid:

  • Shadow Metagross with Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash
  • Shadow Machamp with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Shadow Hariyama with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Shadow Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge
  • Shadow Gardevoir with charm and dazzling shine
  • Shadow Chisel with Bullet Punch and Iron Head
  • Shadow dragonite with dragon tail and dragon claw
  • Shadow Mewtwo with Confusion and Psystrike
  • Shadow Gyarados with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Shadow Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Shadow Granbull with Charm and Play Rough
  • Shadow Aggron with Smack Down and Heavy Slam
  • Shadow Ho-Oh with steel wing and brave bird
  • Shadow Omastar with Rock Throw and Rock Slide

Note: Shadow Metagross outperforms all other Pokémon on the top counter list. Shadow Machamp, Shadow Gardevoir, Shadow Tyranitar, Shadow Scizor, and Shadow Dragonite also behave on a par with the other top counters.

How many players does it take to beat Kyurem in Pokémon Go?

Kyurem is by far the easiest to beat in the Tao Trio. Lacking a quick Ice-type movement, not to mention his signature Glaciate attack, this should be a fairly easy raid. With the best counters, two high level Trainers can do this Raid alone. Even lower level players or those without the best counters shouldn’t need more than four or five Trainers to take on Kyurem.

Weather conditions won’t play a big part in this raid, with most of them increasing both Kyurem and its counters. However, the following may impact this raid:

  • Snow will increase Kyurem’s Ice and Steel-type moves, as well as your Steel-type counters.
  • Windy weather will increase Kyurem’s Dragon-type moves, as well as your Dragon-type counters.
  • Cloudy weather will increase Fairy and Fighting type counters.
  • Partly cloudy weather will increase your Rock type counters.

Niantic Testing Improvements to the Pokémon GO Experience

0

New features are coming to Pokémon GO soon. These changes are intended to introduce and encourage new players to join the Pokémon GO community.

These improvements will not only help new Trainers adapt to the game, but current players can also expect quality of life improvements that will have a positive impact on the overall gaming experience.

Niantic intends to work to improve the gaming experience for everyone with each new update. These specific changes mentioned in this announcement may be minor, but they will help in the big picture to make Pokémon GO bigger and better.

From the official announcement

Coaches: In the coming months, we will be testing small gameplay tweaks in certain parts of the world.

We continually strive to improve the Pokémon GO experience. As such, we want to ensure that the changes we make are beneficial and have a strong and positive impact on the broader community, as well as the experience of each individual Trainer, before launching them globally. We appreciate community support, especially within these regions, as we tested variations of these features to understand what works best.

New game features

These are the new features that will be implemented in the coming months:

  • Nickname Suggestions for New Coaches.

Nickname suggestions will help new Trainers who may have a hard time choosing the perfect name on their Pokémon GO journey.

  • An expanded set of tips for the coach.

We’ve seen an early look at these coach tips on the loading screen, which is a subtle but enjoyable update that can help newer players gain additional insights they may not have known about the game before.

Tips for the Pokémon GO loading screen
  • New PokéStop features.

Niantic mentions new PokéStop features. As of now, we don’t have much information on this specific change, but we can assume that there will be good things soon.

  • Egg hatching updates, including option to skip hatching animation.

The Egg hatch update is something that many trainers will appreciate. Having the option to skip the hatching animation will greatly enhance the gaming experiences and also save a lot of time.

I’m sure we’ve all been in the situation of going on a raid at the last minute, but then having all the eggs known to man hatching in your inventory … I know I did! This will eliminate situations like that, benefit XP grinders, and be a nice feature that we’ll all finally have access to soon.

  • A special investigation story that introduces new Trainers to the world of Pokémon GO..

We can assume that this will grant useful items for new Trainers that will give them a head start on their journey and possibly they will also be able to catch some strong Pokémon.

Thank you for continuing to help us improve Pokémon GO. We look forward to seeing the results of our experiments, and we look forward to rolling out the final versions of these features to all players once testing is complete and we have confirmed that the updates are working as intended.

Be aware of your surroundings and follow the guidelines of local health authorities when playing Pokémon GO. Upcoming events are subject to change. Parting words

Here are some cool features to keep an eye out for in the months to come.

Encouraging new Trainers to try Pokémon GO can be a rewarding experience, both figuratively and literally with the newly introduced rewards program that can grant you bonus items and encounters with rare Pokémon.

To participate in the rewards program, simply click on your avatar profile, scroll down to Friends, and click ‘Invite’ to share your referral code with a future Coach.

Although Pokémon Go Fest 2021 isn’t until the middle of July, Trainers are already getting excited for what promises to be the biggest event in Pokémon Go’s five years. Not only will Pokémon Go Fest 2021 seek to top Pokémon Go Fest 2020, but it will also be commemorating the fifth anniversary of Pokémon Go and the 25th anniversary of Pokémon. It goes without saying, this event will be massive, but what can players expect? Here is everything released for the event so far! Check back often and be sure to check out our best Pokémon Go accessories so you can be sure to be fully equipped when the big event arrives!

What is Pokémon Go Fest?

The biggest event of the year for Pokémon Go, the Pokémon Go Fest is an annual celebration of all things Pokémon Go. First started in 2017 in Chicago, the Pokémon Go Fest was a real world gathering of players who worked together to complete challenges, catch Pokémon old and new, and celebrate their love for the game. Since then, every year Niantic has hosted this event. In 2019, Pokémon Go Fest expanded to include events in Dortmud and Yokohama, as well as Chicago.

VPN Deals: Lifetime license for $16, monthly plans at $1 & more

Although attendees had access to unique Pokémon and rewards, these events have also included rewards for players who were not able to attend and have involved unlocking new Pokémon and features for the game going forward. For example, at the first Pokémon Go Fest, Lugia was revealed and introduced as the first Legendary Pokémon in the game.

Last year, Pokémon Go Fest moved to an global, virtual format and while 2021 will operate the same, there will also be real world celebrations in select cities. There will be no cap on tickets and all players will be able to enjoy both days for massive challenges and tons of Pokémon.

How will Pokémon Go Fest 2021 work?

Pokemon Go Fest 2021 HeroSource: Niantic

In order to host a virtual event around the globe, many aspects of the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 were different from previous Pokémon Go Fests and 2021 promises much of the same. The biggest change was that there is no cap on tickets. No need to wait in a virtual queue, or hope that you are chosen from a random drawing. Because there isn’t a physical space dedicated for the event, there is not need to limit how many tickets are sold. In an effort to preserve the spirit of Pokémon Go Fest while also taking advantage of a much larger playing field, Niantic has given us some idea of what we can expect:

Cost

Tickets for Pokémon Go Fest 2021 will be $5 USD or your local equivalent. These tickets are good for both days and can be purchased beginning today, May 27, 2021.

New Features

With the musical theme, this year’s Pokémon Go Fest will be a music festival in which you are challenged to put together a winning musical act, led by one of two cosplay Pikachu: Rock Star Pikachu or Pop Star Pikachu. Rock Star Pikachu will know the move Meteor Mash and also comes with a rockin’ avatar style pose. Pop Star Pikachu will know the move Draining Kiss and also comes with an iconic avatar style pose.

A certain Mythical Pokémon will also be joining your musical act: Meloetta! For those unfamiliar with Meloetta, it’s a singing and dancing Pokémon with two formes: the Normal and Psychic Aria forme and the Normal and Fighting Pirouette forme.

In the core games, Meloetta could switch between formes by using the move, Relic Song in battle, but so far, Niantic has had different formes released as unique Pokémon. It will be interesting to see how Niantic incorporates Meloetta’s formes and if we’ll be able to switch between the two or have an opportunity to catch both!

Also new this year, Pokémon Go Fest 2021 is sponsored by Google Play. This means players on Android devices will get a few additional bonuses, including:

  • Until May 30, Google Play members earn four times the Google Play points for in app purchases, including tickets to Pokémon Go Fest 2021
  • Players using an Android device during the event will receive a bonus Sponsored Gift

Although the days will both have their own theme, the themes this year are different, as are the activities held during those days.

During this Special Research, Professor Willow has witnessed strange golden rings appearing in the sky and Legendary Pokémon coming out the the rings! Players who’ve seen Hoopa and the Clash of Ages might have already been anticipating this plot twist, but it would seem as though Mythical Pokémon Hoopa has brought all of the Legendary Pokémon out to play for the second half of Pokémon Go Fest 2021.

Pokémon Go: Mega Gengar Mega Raid Guide

0

  • Shadow Tyranitar avec Bite and Crunch

Who is Lugia in Pokémon Go?

Pokemon 249 LugiaSource: The Pokémon Company

The Mascot of Pokémon Silver and Ho-Oh’s polar opposite, Lugia is the Master of the Seas, as well as the Legendary Bird Trio. It is a Psychic and Flying type Legendary Pokémon that is so incredibly powerful, it usually isolates itself to the bottom of the oceans to keep from accidentally inflicting harm. It is incredibly intelligent and can communicate with Pokémon and humans alike through telepathy.

VPN Deals: Lifetime license for $16, monthly plans at $1 & more

When it comes to Pokémon Go, Lugia is the bulkiest Psychic type out there, and with the addition of its Signature Move, Aeroblast, it’s a fantastic Flying type as well. Because Lugia will have Aeroblast in this run, it’s definitely a Pokémon you want in your roster!

What are the best counters for Lugia in Pokémon Go?

Lugia is capable of dealing Psychic, Flying, Dragon, and Water damage. It takes super effective damage from Rock, Ghost, Electric, Ice, and Dark attacks. It’s greatest strength, however, is its defense. Lugia is bulky and can take a lot of damage, so you’re going to want to focus on heavy hitters to beat the clock. Mega Evolution is definitely going to be your friend here, especially if you can coordinate with the rest of your Raid party.

Mega Gengar

Pokemon 094 Gengar MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

Outperforming every other counter for Lugia, Mega Gengar can deal massive damage to Lugia and boost the other Ghost types on the field. As a Poison and Ghost type, Gengar takes increased damage from Lugia’s Psychic attacks, but with Lick and Shadow Ball it will take a big chunk of Lugia’s HP. If it is possible to safely coordinate with the rest of your Raid party, Mega Gengar is the key to a Ghost based offensive.

Mega Houndoom

Pokemon 229 Houndoom MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

Another Mega Pokémon, Mega Houndoom is a Fire and Dark type. It takes double damage from Lugia’s Water type attack, but only quarter damage from its Psychic attacks. Plus, it will boost other Dark types on the field. It’s a little more accessible than Mega Gengar, having been introduced sooner. Snarl and Foul Play is the moveset you’ll want your Mega Houndoom to know.

Mega Manectric

Pokemon 310 Mega ManectricSource: The Pokémon Company

For an Electric based offensive, Mega Manectric is the ideal choice to lead your team. As a pure Electric type, it takes reduced damage from Flying type attacks and it has no weaknesses that Lugia can exploit. If you’re bringing Mega Manectric to this fight, you’ll want it to know Charge Beam and Wild Charge, and be sure to coordinate with your Raid party to make the most of it’s Electric boost.

Zekrom

Pokemon 644 ZekromSource: The Pokémon Company

A Legendary Pokémon first discovered in the Unova region of Gen V, Zekrom was introduced to Pokémon Go in the midst of a global pandemic and so has very limited availability. Some players don’t even have one, much less the Candy to power it up. Still, if you can bring this Electric and Dragon type along to fight Lugia, it takes reduced damage from both Water and Flying type attacks, but double damage from Dragon type attacks. You’ll want your Zekrom to know Charge Beam and Wild Charge.

Mega Gyarados

Pokemon 130 Gyarados MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

Although Mega Houndoom is the better choice for leading a Dark type attack on Lugia, Mega Gyarados can fill this role well if you have more Mega Energy for it. As a Water and Dark type, it resists Psychic and Water type damage and has no relevant weaknesses. Bite and Crunch are the moves you’ll want your Mega Gyarados to know and be sure to coordinate with your Raid party if it is safe to do so.

Thundurus (Therian forme)

Pokemon 642 Thundurus TherianSource: The Pokémon Company

One of the Legendary Forces of Nature, Therian forme Thundurus performs very well against Lugia. Although the Therian formes haven’t been available as often, both Therian and Incarnate formes use the same Candy, so most active players have the resources to power it up. As an Electric and Flying type, Thundurus resists Lugia’s Flying type moves and has no weaknesses it can exploit. Volt Switch and Thunderbolt are the moves you’ll want your Thundurus to know in this fight.

Darkrai

Pokemon 491 DarkraiSource: The Pokémon Company

The Mythical Dark type Pokémon, Darkrai performs very well against Lugia and, unlike most Mythical Pokémon, it has had widespread availability in Pokémon Go being feature in Legendary Raids for Halloween. As a pure Dark type, it has no weaknesses Lugia can exploit and takes quarter damage from Lugia’s Psychic type attacks. You’ll want Snarl for your Darkrai’s Fast Attack, and either Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse for the Charged Attack. Generally, Shadow Ball does more damage, but if there is a Mega Houndoom or Mega Gyarados on the field, you’ll want Dark Pulse to take advantage of the attack boost.

Rhyperior

Pokemon 464 RhyperiorSource: The Pokémon Company

The Sinnoh Stone evolution of Gen I’s Rhyhorn, Rhyperior is an easily obtained counter to Lugia. The Ground and Rock type takes half damage from Lugia’s Flying type moves, but quad damage from its Water type attack. If you’re bringing Rhyperior to this Raid, you’ll want it to know Smack Down and the Community Day exclusive move, Rock Wrecker. Stone Edge can also work, but not nearly as well.

Origin Forme Giratina

Pokemon 487 Giratina OriginSource: The Pokémon Company

Originally encountered in the Sinnoh Region of Gen IV, Origin forme Giratina is another great counter for Lugia thanks to its movepool including Shadow Ball. This Ghost and Dragon type Legendary has been in Raids a couple times now and it shares Candy with Altered forme Giratina, so most players have at least one powered up. It takes half damage from Lugia’s Water type attack, but double damage from it’s Dragon type attack. If you are bringing Giratina to this fight, you’ll want it to know Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball.

Mega Ampharos

Pokemon 181 Ampharos MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

Mega Manectric is the better choice, but Mega Ampharos is still a solid lead for an Electric based offensive. As an Electric and Dragon type, it takes increased damage from Lugia’s Dragon type move, but resists both Flying and Water. You’ll want your Mega Ampharos to know Volt Switch and Zap Cannon and be sure to coordinate with your Raid party if it safe to do so.

Weavile

Pokemon 461 WeavileSource: The Pokémon Company

The Sinnoh Stone evolution of Sneasal, Weavile performs well in this Raid and is very common, so most players have at least one or two. As a Dark and Ice type, it has no relevant weaknesses and takes reduced damage from Lugia’s Psychic type attacks. If you are bringing Weavile along, you’ll want Snarl for it’s Fast Attack and Avalanche for it’s Charged Attack.

Galarian Darmanitan

Pokemon 555 Darmanitan Galarian Standard ModeSource: The Pokémon Company

The Galarian regional variant of Darmanitan works very well in this Raid. Both the Unova version and Galarian version of Darumaka use the same Candy and it only has two stages, leaving lots of Candy left over for powering up. As an Ice type, Galarian Darmanitan has no weaknesses Lugia can exploit. Ice Fang and Avalanche are the moves you’ll want your Galarian Darmanitan to know.

Rampardos

Pokemon 409 RampardosSource: The Pokémon Company

A fossil Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, Rampardos is a solid choice to counter Lugia, especially if you cannot coordinate the use of Mega Pokémon. It’s been boosted in several events, and it only requires 50 Candy to fully evolve, so most active players have the resouces to power it up. As a pure Rock type, it resists Flying type, but Lugia’s Water type move will deal super effective damage. Rampardos comign to fight Lugia should know Smack Down and Rock Slide.

Magnezone

Pokemon 462 MagnezoneSource: The Pokémon Company

The Sinnoh Stone evolution of the Gen I’s Magnemite, Magnezone is a great counter for Lugia. Magnemite Candy is easy enough to obtain, and even though you can only evolve it when using a Magnetic Lure Mod, one Lure Mod is good for as many Magnezone as you want to evolve. As an Electric and Steel type, it takes reduced damage from Dragon and Psychic attacks, and even less damage from Flying, making it last a long time against Lugia. The moveset you’ll want is Spark and Wild Charge.

Mega Abomasnow

Pokemon 460 Abomasnow MegaSource: The Pokémon Company

If you want to focus on Ice types when going up against Lugia, Mega Abomasnow should definitely be on your team. As a Grass and Ice type, it resists Water, but takes increased damage from Flying type attacks. If possible to coordinate with your Raid party, it will boost other Ice types on the field. Powder Snow and Weather Ball are the moves you’ll want your Abomasnow to know for this Raid.

Raikou

Pokemon 243 RaikouSource: The Pokémon Company

One of Ho-Oh’s Legendary Beasts, Raikou has been available through Raids, Research Breakthrough Rewards, and even as a Shadow Pokémon forced to fight for the infamous Team GO Rocket’s Giovanni. You probably have a few in your roster so it’s a great option for this Raid. As an Electric type, it has no weaknesses for Lugia to exploit and resists Lugia’s Flying type attack. The fast move Volt Switch and the charged move Wild Charge are the moves you’ll want for your Raikou.

Backups?

Although most players will be able to make a team of the best counters, if you’re finding a gap in your team, there are plenty of back ups who work well in larger groups. Just make sure you’re dodging and any of the following could be a decent back up:

  • Chandelure with Hex and Shadow Ball
  • Electivire with Thunder Shock and wild Charge
  • Terrakion with Smack Down and Rock Slide
  • Yveltal with Snarl and Dark Pulse
  • Gengar with Lick and Shadow Ball
  • Zapdos with Thunder Shock and Thunderbolt
  • Mamoswine with Powder Snow and Avanlache
  • Luxray with Spark and Wild Charge
  • Hydreigon with Bite and Dark Pulse
  • Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge
  • Alolan Golem with Rock Throw and Wild Charge
  • Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Shadow Ball
  • Zacian (Hero of Many Battles forme) with Snarl and Wild Charge
  • Glaceon with Frost Breath and Avalanche
  • Honchkrow with Snarl and Dark Pulse
  • Thundurus (Incarnate forme) with Thunder Shock and Thunder
  • Deoxys with Charge Beam and Thunderbolt
  • Gigalith with Smack Down and Rock Slide
  • Bisharp with Snarl and Dark Pulse
  • Jynx with Frost Breath and Avalanche

Shadow Pokémon?

The rebalance of Shadow Pokémon rescued from Team GO Rocket make them excellent glass cannons. Not only are their stats boosted, but during special events or with Elite TMs, it’s possible to change their moves. If you happen to have any of the following Pokémon with the right moveset, they will work very well in this Raid:

  • Shadow Raikou with Thunder Shock and Wild Charge
  • Shadow Electivire with Thunder Shock and Wild Charge
  • Shadow Weavile with Snarl and Avalanche
  • Shadow Magnezone with Spark and Wild Charge
  • Shadow Zapdos with Thunder Shock and Thunderbolt
  • Shadow Mamoswine with Powder Snow and Avalanche
  • Shadow Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge
  • Shadow Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Shadow Ball
  • Shadow Honchkrow with Snarl and Dark Pulse
  • Shadow Absol with Snarl and Dark Pulse
  • Shadow Aerodactyl with Rock Throw and Rock Slide
  • Shadow Magneton with Spark and Discharge
  • Shadow Mismagius with Hex and Shadow Ball
  • Shadow Manectric with Snarl and Wild Charge
  • Shadow Houndoom with Snarl and Foul Play

Note: Shadow Raikou, Shadow Electivire, Shadow Magnezone, Shadow Weavile and Shadow Zapdos outperform everything else except Mega Gengar. Likewise, Shadow Mamoswine, Shadow Tyranitar, and Shadow Mewtwo perform at the same level as the Pokémon in the best counters list.

How many players does it take to beat Lugia in Pokémon Go?

Lugia is a tough Raid because its defense is just so high. Beating the clock is the real challenge here. Even with top level Trainers and the best circumstances, you’ll still need three, but for lower level Trainers or those without Mega or Shadow counters, you’ll want at least four or five.

Weather Conditions that could impact this Raid include:

  • Windy Weather will boost Lugia’s Dragon, Psychic, and Flying type moves.
  • Rainy Weather will boost Lugia’s Water type move, as well as your Electric type counters.
  • Fog will boost your Ghost and Dark type counters
  • Snow will boost your Ice type counters
  • Partly Cloudy Weather will boost your Rock type counters.

Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad (How to Fake Your Location on iPhone) 2020

1

If you want to tell your iPhone for Fake GPS and your Fake GPS apps that you’re in a Fake GPS location as different location than where you’re actually at, here’s how to fake your location/ fake GPS for iPhone / iPad.

There are several reasons why you may want to falsify your site. Some people want to do this for privacy reasons because many applications follow your site in the background (and you can not even realize that your site is attached to the photos you take by default), and others like bypassing Prohibition restrictions in some streaming applications in order to watch live sports or catch their favorite TV shows and movies.

You can also falsify your site in various dating apps. Tinder, for example, has a paid feature that allows you to change your site but you would not need to pay for it with a way to do it yourself.

We see a lot of users looking to falsify their iPhone site for Pokémon. Go and try to get specific places to catch Pokémon without leaving the house.

Or you can be super sly and change your location in the Bahamas. Then publish a Tweet with your site activated and make everyone jealous (but you’re actually not in the Bahamas).

As long as you have a jailbroken iPhone, you can fake your location (Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad) , right to specific coordinates if you want to get specific. Whatever your reasons for wanting to falsify your site on your iPhone, here’s how to do it on a jailbroken device.

There is now an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak available that allows you to distort your iPhone location on the latest software. This new jailbreak works on iOS 9.2 via iOS 9.3.3, but only on 64-bit devices like the iPhone 5 and newer.

Faking GPS Location on iPhone

Faking the location of an iPhone requires more effort than with Android devices because you can’t simply install an app. The easiest way is to use your computer, and keep in mind this only works with iPhones running iOS 12 or older operating systems.

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer and install iTools on your computer. iTools includes a tool called Virtual Location that lets you alter your phone’s location.
  2. Launch iTools and click the Virtual Location button.
  3. At the top of the map, type in the location you want to fake and press Enter.
  4. On a map, you’ll see your GPS location move to the faked location. Click Move Here. You can click the map to change your location if you like.
  5. You can exit iTools and disconnect your iPhone from the computer. If the program prompts you to stop location simulation, be sure to select No.

If you just want to turn off your location information without trying to fool people into thinking you’re someplace else, it’s pretty easy.

On iPhones, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services. Toggle the Location Services button from “On” to “Off” to turn off location information.

For Android phones, go to Settings > Connections > Location. Toggle the Location button from “On” to “Off” to turn off location information. Note that some apps won’t work properly if the location information is turned off.

Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad: Faking Your Location on iPhone 2020

There are some jailbreak adjustments that you can download from Cydia that can change your location where you want, but maybe no tweak is better than LocationFaker, because it’s really easy to use.

You can download LocationFaker (Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad App)in Cydia by tapping the Search tab at the bottom and typing in “LocationFaker” in the search box. From there, you will select the iOS 8 & 9 version and proceed to the installation on your iPhone.

The tweak will (Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad App) Install as an application and appear on your home screen. Open it to begin.

You will see that the application will display your current location, but you can easily drag around the screen to change the location of the green pin. You can also zoom in to be more accurate with your fake location that you want to configure.

Once you have found the desired location, press the Stop button in the lower-left corner to activate LocationFaker and begin to distort your location. The button changes to On.

From there you can get out of the application while keeping it running in the background, and then can go into any application where it will use your fake site. For example, Google Maps will think I’m located somewhere I’m actually not in, and even Tweeting with my fake site will work magically.

I have not found an application that will not work with this tweak, except for MLB.TV, which uses more means than your location to determine whether you are in a no-go zone or not. Virtually any other application that uses your site will use your fake location if you have LocationFaker enabled.

This will also work with Facebook Messenger (remember when a new tool revealed this?), As well as the camera application whenever you take a picture and you have your site activated.

You can even add some slots to your favorites to easily get back to them when you need them, which is probably the coolest feature of any tweak.

Steps to Bypass Jailbreak Detection in Pokemon Go iOS(iPhone/iPad)

Here are the steps to work around the jailbreak detection for iOS in Pokemon Go using Master Ball Cydia Tweak.

These are steps using master ball Cydia tweak. If you guys do not get success with this application to Jailbreak Detection Bypass in Pokemon Go so feel free to ask in the comments so we can use two other Cydia tweaks that can help us to bypass jailbreak detection in Pokemon Go.

Those using Cydia tweak tcprotector 8+ or PokePatch by BigBoss repo. These three Cydia tweaks work without errors Jailbreak Detection Bypass / Arrival Pokemon Go.

  1. First, you need to have Cydia installed on your iDevice jailbreak.
  2. Go to Cydia and add the following repo Sources: http://cokepokes.github.io/
  3. Now Find Master ball using the search function and install it.
  4. If you can not find the sources and reload and you will get.
  5. After successful installation reboot your iDevice.
  6. That’s all. It’s all done. Now you can enjoy Pokemon Go on your iDevice without jailbreaking detection function disturb you between.

Sure, you probably will not use LocationFaker (Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad App) all the time, but it could certainly work 24 hours a day if you wanted to by just making sure that LocationFaker (Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad App) is enabled and running in the background at all times. Better yet, you can change your position whenever you want by simply dragging the screen to move the pin to another part of the map.

It is really easy to use LocationFaker (Fake GPS for iPhone/iPad App) and makes it super convenient to change and distort your site whenever you want.

  3. Once GPS JoyStick has been moved to “/system/app” unroot your phone (so that you can play Pokemon GO)
  4. Enable System Mode in GPS JoyStick Settings screen.
  5. GPS JoyStick should work even when you are not rooted as long as it was moved to the system/app location. If rubberbanding/jumping between mock location and real location occurs, try some solutions in the section below.
For step #2 above

Additional Steps for Android Oreo (8.0) Users:
Try the Android 8.1 guide (linked at the top), if that does not work, then you can also try these user submitted steps (your mileage may vary):

  1. Put GPS Joystick in “root/system_root/system/priv-app” and make sure file permissions are set to 0644
  2. Create a text file called “privapp-permissions-com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick.xml
    and paste this into it:
    <privapp-permissions package=”com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick”>
    <permission name=”android.permission.INTERNET”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.ACCESS_LOCATION_EXTRA_COMMANDS”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.ACCESS_MOCK_LOCATION”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.INSTALL_LOCATION_PROVIDER”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.CHANGE_COMPONENT_ENABLED_STATE”/>
    <permission name=”com.google.android.providers.gsf.permission.READ_GSERVICES”/>
    <permission name=”com.android.vending.BILLING”/>
    <permission name=”android.permission.WAKE_LOCK”/>
    <permission name=”com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE”/>
    <permission name=”com.theappninjas.gpsjoystick.permission.C2D_MESSAGE”/>
    </privapp-permissions>
  3. Place the file at “root/system_root/system/etc/permissions/” and make sure permissions are set to 0644
  4. Edit the file “root/system_root/system/etc/permissions/privapp-permissions-marlin.xml
  5. Add the same XML from Step 2 between the <permissions></permissions> tags and make sure permissions are set to 0644
  6. Restart the device and confirm that the Enable System Mode is enabled in GPS JoyStick Settings.

How to circumvent the Pokemon GO blacklist:

  1. Download the latest version of GPS JoyStick.
  2. Tap the Privacy Mode link on the home screen under Quick Options to generate a completely unique app copy just for you.
  3. Once the generated app has been created, install it and set it up following the steps below for your Android version.
  4. Optional Go to the original app and save/backup the database if you want to copy your Favorites and Routes. Then go to the generated app and restore the database. Verify that it works!
  5. Uninstall the original GPS JoyStick app (and uninstall any other spoofing/Pokemon GO specific apps that may also be on the blacklist).
  6. Use the generated GPS JoyStick app on Pokemon GO without getting the blacklist warning!
  7. To Update the Generated app:Use the Update option when tapping on Privacy Mode and select the previously generated app in the dialog that appears to generate the update for it.

Pokemon GO Specific FAQ

Do I need to be rooted?
If you have Android Marshmallow (6.0) or above you do not need to be rooted. For older versions of Android, to successfully mock locations in Pokemon GO, root is needed. (Do this at your own risk we do not endorse or recommend rooting unless you are comfortable with this).

Why do I receive the “Failed to detect location” error?
This occurs when you have Mock Locations enabled in Developer Options. To prevent this you need to either follow the steps above for setting the app as a System app.

  1. Tap it and turn on Mock Locations from the menu on the next screen.

Why does my person not move?
Make sure you have followed the steps at the above for your Android version. Once again, if you have any Android version below 6.0, for Pokemon GO your phone has to be rooted for this app to work.

Why can’t I see any PokeStops or Pokemon?/Why do no PokeStops work and all Pokemon run away?
Pokemon GO can determine if you teleport from your last logged location to a new one if not enough time has passed by, in this case you get soft banned. For example, if you live in New York and log into Pokemon GO and then 5 minutes later you use GPS JoyStick to teleport you to California, it is obvious that you would not be able to move that far in such a short amount of time. To avoid this, wait the same amount of time it would take you to get to the place you are spoofing before opening the app. So in this example, do not open Pokemon GO in the new location until waiting ~7–8 hours.

First Time Setup Guide

If the below steps don’t work try the steps listed under the Pokemon GO Guide.

Android Marshmallow (6.0) And Above

  1. Go to Developer Options and set GPS JoyStick as the Mock Locations app.
  2. Enable Indirect Mocking option in the GPS JoyStick Settings screen.

Older Versions of Android (Android 4.4 or 5.0):

  1. Go to Developer Options and enable Mock Locations.
  2. Open GPS JoyStick and Start the joystick control.

Jurassic World Alive Specific FAQ

Why can’t I see the map and how do I get rid of the “Disconnected From GPS” error?
At the time of writing (June 5, 2018) the “Disconnected From GPS” error can be ignored as long as you can still see the map and interact with stops or dinosaurs. To fix the blank map problem follow these steps:

  1. Tap open your Collection.
  2. Tap and open any Dinosaur.
  3. Tap and open the Map. At this point the map will be visible. You may still see the “Disconnected From GPS” error but if you can see stops and dinosaurs you can still play.

All Other Apps

For most apps the following step is required to get GPS JoyStick to properly mock your location (if these steps don’t work try the steps listed under Pokemon GO):

Android Marshmallow (6.0) And Above:

Go to Developer Options and set GPS JoyStick as the Mock Locations app.

Older Versions of Android:

Enable Mock Locations in Developer Options.

General Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where is Mock Locations/Developer Options?
The following steps may not work for all phones/Android versions. Search for how to enable it for your specific device if the following does not work:

  1. Open Settings> About> Software Information> More.
  2. Then tap Build number seven times to enable Developer options.
  3. Go back to Settings menu and now you’ll be able to see Developer Options there.
  4. Tap it and turn on Mock Locations from the menu on the next screen.

How do I stop the current location from rubberbanding/teleporting back and forth to my original location?
On some devices/Android versions this more prominent. To help reduce this you can try some or all of the below:

  • As of February 2018, Google Play Services has a new update which causes random jumping. One thing you can try is to clear the Google Play Services cache and uninstall any updates. Also try clearing the Pokemon GO app cache. You can also try denying location permissions (or all permissions if that works for you) to the Google Play Services app.
  • Try the new GPS Jump fix options that are visible on the Home screen.
  • If the app is installed as a System app, you can try the Disable Location Service option in the GPS JoyStick Settings (click the hamburger menu and select Settings). Then set Location mode in your phone settings to Low (GPS Only).
  • If the above does not work, you can either try and tweak the Process Interval in Settings. (This is advanced so be avoid if you do not know what you are doing).
  • Alternatively, use the app indoors where you have a low gps signal.
  • Some things other users have tried is placing a tin foil on the back — in between the case and the phone to block the gps signal.

Why does my regular GPS location not work anymore?

If you enabled Mock Locations in Developer Options then you need to disable it and (sometimes) restart your device for your normal GPS location to start working again.
*Also if you enabled the Disable Location Service option in Settings then you need to disable that option and restart your device.

How to prevent JoyStick from disappearing when I start another app? How do I stop the JoyStick from disappearing and reappearing constantly?

  • Unfortunately, this can be phone/Android version specific. Make sure your phone is not too aggressive in force closing apps/services to preserve memory or battery. You will have to check your phone settings for this and may need to search online to find a solution that works for your phone.
  • Another possible culprit can be “Memory” cleaner apps (such as Clean Master) which will automatically force kill services such as this one. You will have to find a setting to make GPS JoyStick an exception or disable the app when using GPS JoyStick.
  • You can also try using an app called “Memory Locker” to reduce the amount of memory used by the GPS JoyStick app and Pokemon GO. You can try the following tutorial to reduce memory consumption for Pokemon GO (try at your own risk): https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/how-to-rum-pokemon-low-spec-devices-1gb-t3425263
  • Also on some Android devices, you can have a maximum of 3 foreground type services at any given time. Make sure you do not have other services running that would cause GPS JoyStick service to force close.
  • ***To help prevent the location to reset back to the start location when the joystick disappears and reappears: Enable the Save Last Location option in Settings to auto save the last location as you walk. This is not recommended if your joystick is operating normally as it may degrade performance.
