A special Pokémon GO weekend event takes place in Mexico from Friday, December 10, 2021 to Sunday, December 12, 2021. The event is created in collaboration with 7-Eleven Mexico. Mega Steelix energy is distributed during the event, hinting at an upcoming Mega Steelix release.
This event is exclusive to Mexico. To participate you must be in Mexico for the duration of the event. Some event bonuses require the purchase of a special participation ticket.

The following features will be available to players who obtain a 7-Eleven Mexico ticket and who are in Mexico during the event dates.

- An exclusive timed field investigation will reward you with encounters of Pokémon such as Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Onix, Shuckle, and Bronzor. If you are lucky, you will be able to find a Shiny Geodude!
- Timed Research will also reward you with XP, Incense, Star Piece, Lucky Egg, and Mega Steelix Energy.
- 3x XP for catching Pokémon
- 3 times the duration of decoy modules
- The efficiency of the decoy module will be further improved.
- You will receive an exclusive event medal when you redeem your code at the Offer redemption site.
On Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. M. At 5:00 p. M., Local time
- Geodude, Onix, Shuckle, Aron, Numel, Baltoy, Bronzor, and Hippopotas will be more frequently attracted to incense and decoy modules. If you are lucky, you may find a Shiny Buneary!
- Unown E and Unown S will also be attracted more frequently to incense and decoy modules. Shiny Unown will not appear during the event.

You can get a free ticket by following these steps:
- Buy $ 50 pesos or more in any 7-Select Purified Water presentation.
- Register your ticket in our application before December 5, 2021.
- Once your ticket has been validated, you will receive your access code by email on December 9, 2021.
