Each month, Pokémon GO players can look forward to Community Day, where a beloved Pokémon is featured. This is usually a starting Pokémon, and September is no different, with Oshawott being the star of the series. Oshawott is an otter-like water-type Pokémon, which first appeared in Generation 5 – Black and White Pokémon, which took place in the Unova region.

If you are attending Community Day next month, keep these items in mind:

  • Oshawott is a featured Pokémon, and players may even encounter its shiny form.
  • Rainy lure modules, which can be placed on PokéStops, can attract Oshawott during the event. Don’t be afraid to use them!
  • Spinning PokéStops and opening gifts from friends can give you the Oshawott theme stickers. You can also buy these stickers in the store.
  • Oshawott has a line with three evolutions – Oshawott, Dewott and Samurott. If you evolve a Dewott with enough candy during the event, the resulting Samurott will experience an exclusive Charged Attack, Hydraulic cannon!
  • Using Charge TMs on a Samurott during and after the event can teach him a new charged attack, Razor shell.
  • Take a instantaneous with your Pokémon during the event – something cool could happen!
  • One time purchase Community day box will be available in the store for 1,280 PokéCoins. The box contains 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Rainy Lure Mods, and an Elite FastTM.
  • For 1.00 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency), you can purchase a ticket for the Special search story exclusive to the event – “Escalopes to Seamitars”. You will be able to earn a Rainy Lure module among the rewards, among others. These tickets are non-refundable and will not include an in-game medal.

The following bonuses will also be activated:
