If you are one of the Trainers still struggling to get to level 50, and you haven’t passed level 41, then it will take you even harder to level up … as if it wasn’t hard enough!
Niantic has published in its official Twitter account, that one of his requirements to go up to level 42 will be updated on June 9 at 10 a.m. PT to include evolving an Eevee to Sylveon.
In the past, missions that had to be completed to earn level 42, in addition to gathering the necessary experience, They were:
|Tasks to level up||Rewards|
Evolving Eevee in each of its evolutions required the tedious and arduous task of evolving Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, and Leafeon.
Sylveon will now join that listAnd remember that evolving Sylveon is not easy, so the path to level 42 will be even more difficult than before.
How to evolve Eevee to Sylveon
In case you are wondering what the steps are to turn an Eevee into Sylveon, you need to name your Eevee Kira before evolving. This only works once.
Subsequently, you must:
- Have 25 Eevee Candies
- Win 70 hearts with Eevee as your friend
- While still your friend, evolve Eevee to have Sylveon.
Does this mean I have to evolve Sylveon now if I’m level 41 right now?
No way. Everything remains the same for you, as Niantic clearly said if you are now at Level 41, it does not affect anything.
