Pokémon Go: The Shadowy Threat Grows

Pokemon Go Team Go Rocket Giovanni

This month’s special search has been extended until April to give players more time to meet Shadow Entei.

Team Go Rocket is back for March and April 2020 and this time, Giovanni has captured the legendary beast, Entei! By completing the special search: the ghost threat is growing, you can defeat Giovanni, save Shadow Entei and purify the legendary beast. Even better, this month will include a takeover of Team Go Rocket on Saturday March 7 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time!

What is Team Go Rocket?

Based on the original Pokémon antagonists, Team Rocket is an infamous criminal organization led by Giovanni. The group seeks to steal precious Pokémon and force these Pokémon to continue Giovanni’s efforts. In Pokémon Go, the group is pretty much the same, known as Team Go Rocket. Basically, it’s the bad guys who have disappeared from the game from day one. They are here now, and once a month, you can do a special search to confront their leader, Giovanni, and potentially save him from a Legendary Shadow Pokémon.

Can I start right away?

Probably, but, unlike some other special research, players must perform specific special research to begin the growth of the dark menace. If you haven’t finished A Troubling Situation, Looming in the Shadows, A Challenging Development, The Take-Over Continue, and A Professor’s Never is Done, you’ll need to finish them first. Fortunately, A Troubling Situation is quite fast, and we have a guide who will guide you quickly. Looming in the Shadows, A Challenging Development, The Take-Over Continue, and A Professor’s Never Done take longer – one month each, to be exact. However, we also have guides to guide you through each of them.

You must also be at least level eight to begin this special search.
