Pokémon GO Fest returns from July 17 to July 18, 2021

Pokémon GO Fest 2021 returns for one more year, which will take place from July 17 to July 6, 2021 as a global event at the global level, Niantic announced.

The home play format from last year’s GO Fest returns, with more details to be revealed at a later date.

What’s coming to GO Fest this year?

Niantic 2020 Edition of GO Fest featured the Global Challenge Arena, The Feeling of Victory special investigation that led to Victini, and a host of Team GO Rocket content.

Here’s a quick reminder from last year’s event:

2021 marks both the Pokémon 25th Anniversary and the Pokémon GO 5th AnniversarySo trust us when we say you don’t want to miss Pokémon GO Fest 2021. We can’t wait to celebrate another summer together. To stay Tuned for more details!

Our money is on Shaymin or Meloetta, spread over regional spawns, a fair entry price, and another installment of global challenges.

We expect the USD 15 price to hold and look forward to a better execution of the event. Last year we had a GO Fest 2020 make-up event and a Pokémon GO Fest make-up… Make-up day! And we’re sure Niantic has learned a lot from this.

Why do you mention Meloetta?

Meloetta

This is a curve ball, but here we go:

  • In the post, Tuned is in italics
  • The musical notes in the official images seem to suggest Meloetta 🎵
  • The 25th anniversary of Pokémon has been celebrated with music so far: Pokémon turns 25!
