A special collaboration event between Ed Sheeran and Pokémon GO has been announced, starting on November 22, 2021 and lasting one week.

The event features a special in-game musical performance by Ed Sheeran, additional spawns, new avatar items, Squirtle sunglasses, and a special redeemable sweatshirt.

All bonuses start on November 22, 2021 and last until November 30, 2021.

Musical bonuses

A special performance by Ed Sheeran will be available through the Pokémon GO application. You can watch the performance on the game news starting Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 am PST (GMT −8).

The performance will feature songs from =, Ed’s new album, and more. The songs include: “Perfect”, “Bad habits”, “Graffiti on the flyover”, “Thinking aloud”, “First time” and “Shaking chills”.

Overpass Graffiti will play every night in Pokémon GO from Monday, November 22, 2021 to Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

Empowered Spawns

Ed Sheeran always chooses the Water-type Pokémon as his first partner when starting a Pokémon RPG. To celebrate this collaboration, the event has all the WaterFirst Partner Type Pokémon currently available in Pokémon GO.

All Water-type entrees are a Froakie Shiny Eligible Bar. Squirtle will appear wearing sunglasses. Please note that these Pokémon will be something driven. You can find the Squirtle sprite sunglasses below:
