Pokémon Go Community Day Guide for March 2020

The March 2020 community day will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time in the Northern Hemisphere and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time in the Southern Hemisphere.

Community Day in March 2020 will feature Abra, the Psi Pokémon. The Psychic Gen I type from the Kanto, Abra region can be transformed from community day to Alakazam with an exclusive community day movement to be announced soon.

March 2020 Community Day will feature 3x Catch XP. Shiny Abra will also be available for the first time.

This is all part of Pokémon Go’s ongoing efforts to encourage players to go out, explore new places and meet new people.

Pokémon GO Community Day is an opportunity for trainers from around the world to meet in their local parks to make new friends and find out what it means to be part of this special community.

Once a month, we will host a Pokémon GO Community Day event featuring a special Pokémon, which will appear frequently worldwide for only a few hours. When captured during the event, this special Pokémon will experience exclusive movement. Other bonuses will be in effect during the event, such as increasing XP or star dust, and the lure modules activated during the event will last three hours.

We are constantly blown away by the passion of Pokémon GO players around the world, and we hope that each day in the Pokémon GO community will add to the excitement of local events and get-togethers. Remember to always be alert and stay safe when playing and respect public spaces when exploring your community. Stay tuned to our social media channels and check out the Pokémon GO Community Day event page each month to find out more about Pokémon of the month, special bonuses and event schedules.
