What is Classic Community Day?
Community Day Classic is a brand new event in Pokémon Go that allows players to relive one of the first Community Days. For three hours, players will have the chance to catch a specific species of Pokémon that will take hold of virtually all appearances of Pokémon. The Pokémon featured in the event will have increased Shiny rates, and when it evolves during the event, it will learn a special Legacy move.
Which Pokémon will be featured in Community Day Classic?

The very first Community Day Classic will feature: Bulbasaur, the Seed Pokémon! For three hours, Bulbasaur will take care of the wild spawns. Not only will Bulbasaur have increased Shiny rates, any evolved Venusaur during the event will experience the event’s exclusive movement, Frenzy Plant!
When is Classic Community Day?
The first-ever Community Day Classic will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
Bonus for Community Day Classic
In addition to the Bulbasaur takeover, players will also be able to enjoy the following bonuses:
- A special limited community day box in the PokéShop with 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Star Coins and an Elite ChargedTM for 1,280 PokéCoins
