Niantic announces details for Pokémon Go Valentines event 2021

Naintic has just given more details on the previously announced Pokémon Go Valentines 2021 event. Starting on Valentine’s Day, this event will run until Thursday, February 18, 2021. Munna, the Pokémon Dream Eater, will make its Pokémon Go debut, with its evolution Musharna. Trainers will be able to evolve Munna into Musharna with the evolution element, Unova Stone. Additionally, Gardevoir and Gallade have evolved as the event experiences the psychic-type charged attack, Synchronoise.

The following Pokémon will appear in the wild more often:

  • Nidoran♀ *
  • Nidoran♂ *
  • Plusle *
  • My*
  • Volbeat *
  • Illuminate *
  • Luvdisc *
  • Munna
  • Feebas *

Pokémon that are likely to be Shiny are marked with an asterisk. Feebas will have increased the Shiny fares during this event.

The PokéShop will offer a free one-time set of three Ranged Raid Passes, as well as Munna-inspired avatar items in the Avatar Style Shop. Exclusive stickers for the event will be available from Friend Gifts.

Other bonuses during the event will include:

  • Increased chances of becoming lucky friends with your friends
  • Increased chances that the Pokémon you trade will become Lucky Pokémon
  • Commercial range increased to 40 km
  • Increased chance of receiving berry gifts
