Hello coaches,

Today information regarding the new shadow was extracted. Pokemon, Mega Altaria Mega Evolution stats and costs, and various model upgrades.

New shadow Pokemon To update

New shadow Pokemon They are always an interesting addition to the meta, their higher damage and lower volume can make them exceptional options in both PvE and PvP. Let’s start listing the new ones. These could potentially be released for the Luminous Y event, or a different event, or never. It is extracted from data, without promises.

There are quite a few notable Pokémon on that list, right? Tangrowth, Granbull, Blaziken, and Staraptor could all be incredibly strong in PvE, with the latter two already somewhat strong in their respective types and Tangrowth is still pretty good. However, Blaziken needs an Elite ChargeTM or a wait.
(Personally, I’m still hopeful for a Starly Community Day. It could be great with Fly, but that’s off topic. I like birds, okay)

Shadow Granbull could be a vicious Charm user for PvP, arguably the highlight of the update in terms of PvP!
Shadow Kingdra’s exceptional type could make him a strong Octozooka spammer, with Dragon Breath’s incredible DPT backing him up.
Even Bibarel’s unassuming typing could make him a threat in certain limited cups.
Drapion’s Ground’s only weakness alongside Fell Stinger could make him a snowball threat, though his moves don’t carry much weight on their own.

Even the aforementioned PvE Pokémon could be put to great use in PvP, Shadow Blaziken, especially with its Stone Edge legacy combined with Blaze Kick for quick damage.
Shadow Hariyama can be a great alternative to Shadow Machamp, and we all know how brutal those shadow-powered counters are!

Shadow Poochyena could be a strong Bronzor counter if Little Cup ever returns, though it’s questionable if he can survive long enough to steal a shield from Cottonee. However, don’t bother with Shadow Mightyena.

However, not everything is pink. Shadow Manectric is completely overshadowed by its own mega evolution, not worth the expense of a shadow for PvE or PvP.

Speaking of purification, Shadow Poochyena, Starly, and Bidoof fit into the rare 1000 dust purification category. They are worth stacking up to avoid certain missions on a budget, reaching level 45, or if you’re just looking for the platinum purifier medal.

Anyway, I have rambled quite a bit. It’s time to enter the new Mega Evolution, Altaria!

Mega Altaria stats and added evolution costs

Following the (somewhat controversial) Swablu Community Day event on May 15 at 5pm local time, Mega Altaria will join the raids! It is Continue Y Fairy typing makes it a perfect complement to the Luminous X event, which features both types. Sure, it will be added during the last days of said event, but still.

While Mega Altaria’s stats and moves aren’t exactly a hit in the PvE department, it does have the potential to shine in PvP with its unique writing, nice stats, and strong STAB … if mega evolutions weren’t banned in GO Battle. League and will rarely be used for peer-to-peer battles.

It can at least boost your candy for Fairy-types, being the first mega evolution to do so. It has that going for it at least, and if you have maxed Altaria for Ultra Premier, it’s not the worst raid option and actually improves your fellow raiders’ Fairy and Dragon. Pokémon, which may be a godsend for future Palkia raids (presumably when the remakes are released at the latest).

Let’s finish the article with some minor updates to the model.

Various Pokemon Updated models

A variety of Pokemon We had small model and camera updates, too many to list here, and many are virtually unnoticeable. Sylveon got her flower crown shape added, which is great! This is not a sign that it will be released soon, as a heads up.

Wrap

This is quite an exciting update, as most of Shadow’s new forms are interesting in one way or another. Of course, this is all subject to change due to data mining, and should in no way be treated as secure.

Goodbye and stay safe, Trainers!
