Hello coaches! 0.223.0 is currently rolling out to a device near you and it brings with it some pretty cool upgrade suggestions that we can select from different Pokéballs during raid encounters, some nice visual indicators when our inventory of Pokébox and items is full, and plus!
You can check out the original post on the PokéMiners website. here.
You already know about the mock, everything in this article is data mined and therefore subject to change or will not even be published at all.
So let’s get into it!
Raid Ball selection?
set_ActiveRaidBallSelectionButton SelectPremierPokeball raidBallSelectionButton
It appears that buttons have been added to change your Pokéball during raid encounters. There are no new Pokéballs in this update, but as the Pokéminers point out … the Master Ball is still in the game.
It was suggested to me that this could be for Beast Balls for the eventual release of Ultra Beasts. (Thanks Bobbinghead)
Personally, I would love to repeat some balls. There are many Pokéballs that exist in the main series games that are not in Pokémon Go.
New movements
.V0353_MOVE_PSYCHIC_FANGS .V0355_MOVE_HYPERSPACE_HOLE .V0354_MOVE_HYPERSPACE_FURY
Psychic Fangs is the exclusive move for Shinx Community Day.
Hyperspace Hole is Hoopa Confined’s signature move.
Hyperspace Fury is Hoopa Unbound’s signature move.
Perhaps the speculation that we are going to get Hoopa Unbound at the end of the season is correct.
Quality of Life: Complete Collection of Items and Pokémon
Credit to the Pokéminers for the images in this section.
Full Pokébox
The total number of Pokémon caught will now turn red when your Pokébox is full.
The center of the icon at the bottom of the map screen will also turn orange when your Pokébox is full.
Item inventory full
The item number will also turn red when your item box is full.
Pokémon GO Plus Simulator
PgpSimulatorSettingsGuiController pgpSimulatorSettingsGuiPrefab ClickPgpSim pgpSimulatorMenuRoot
These were added to the Pokémon Go Plus GUI and settings. This could be Niantic testing the functionality of Pokémon Go Plus, or it could be a virtual Go Plus that is part of the actual game and not a physical bracelet. The latter is most likely part of a paid subscription service.
Maximum Frame Rate Unlocked!
get_UnlockedBaseFramerate set_UnlockedBaseFramerate UNLOCK_BASE_FRAMERATE_SETTING UnlockFramerateClicked unlockFramerateToggle unlockFramerateToggleText dividerFramerateToggle
This section has been added to advanced settings and unlocks your device’s maximum frame rate when enabled. I’m sure this will be great for visuals and not so great for battery life.
Postcard updates
Many of the Postcard updates were de-obfuscated, so the PokéMiners have been able to unearth a lot of details about the Postcard updates.
The postcard itself
Along with what was already known about Postcards, they will also store the name and codename of the coach who created the postcard, a note with the postcard, and the gift box that the card is linked to.
There is no indication that they can be shared between games, so the codename is an interesting addition.
Share postcards
SHARE_WITH_FRIENDS DO_NOT_SHARE
You will be given the option to share your coach’s information on the postcard or unsubscribe.
Postcard options
It was previously reported that you could create, delete, and send postcards. The PokéMiners have confirmed with the deofuscation, that this is correct. Postcards have been pulled from 0.205.0!
Regards
The keepsakes will contain the following information: type, location, when they were added, and which postcard they go with.
There is also a list of Memories, which suggests that you could have several of them at the same time. The memory list contains the memory type, the cell S2 location limits, and the start / end time of the limit.
Gift details status
GiftDetailsState ShowGiftDetailsGui giftDetailsGuiPrefab giftDetailsState
This is likely to be compatible with the new postcards.

The map exploration status is what the map and all Pokémon, stops, and gyms display. Basically the raid log now includes the information of completed raids.

Websockets can now retry failed connections to the server.
Lucky Friend sync
The game will now sync lucky friends to friends, which should fix the bug where one friend is shown as lucky and the other is not.
That’s it for now, coaches, stay safe!
